BUFFALO PSYCHIATRIC CENTER TRIPTYCH
Pen & Ink / Watercolor
3 Panels — Each panel is approx 11" x 15

Semi-expressionistic renderings of the former Buffalo Psychiatric Center designed in the late 1880s by H.H. Richardson. (Now a boutique hotel.)
At the time, the property was in disrepair which, along with the grey-purple skies of Buffalo in late autumn gave it an omnipotent feeling. The building/s extend several city blocks, what I chose to focus on were the three areas of the campus I was always most drawn to.
