New work inspired by (hopefully temporary) hearing loss due to a long-term infection. The constant sound of slithering, broken by patches of conversation and other noise is a constant halo and disrupts the ability to process conversation/interaction when context is not clear. The figure holds still in contemplation so as not to make a verbal or emotional misstep.
